On February 21, the sixth day of Chinese lunar January, Confucius Institute of Suan Dusit University at Suphanburi (CISDUS) holds its own Spring Festival celebration, "A China-Thailand Family", where among more than 260 people are present Vice President of Suan Dusit University (SDU) and CISDUS Board Chairman Pitauk Chancharoen, Senior Advisor to the SDU President and to the CISDUS Natharom Chuthapatra, SDU Vice President and CISDUS Board member Waranee Vessoontorntep, SDU Vice President and CISDUS Board member Pornchanit Kaew-nate, Senior Advisor to the CISDUS Churdchin Sookplang, SDU Suphanburi Campus's Deputy Headmaster Worawej On-nom, CISDUS's Chinese Director Huang He and Thai Director Tanaporn Khotphat, and the Rotary Club of Suphanburi Chairman Somchai Sophasriphan. Being entitled as "A China-Thailand Family", the celebration is all the way heated up by a series of traditional Chinese art performances acted out by both Chinese and Thai teachers and students, well publicising the traditional Chinese culture and bringing closer the links between Chinese and Thai people.
